Rispetto per tutto

Gli Indiani Dakota erano saggi. Sapevano che il cuore di un uomo che si allontana dalla natura ha vita difficile; sapevano che una mancanza di rispetto per tutto ciò che vive e che cresce ben presto fa inaridire anche il rispetto per l'uomo. Per questo l'influsso della natura, che rendeva l'uomo più sensibile, era parte integrante della loro educazione.
